I agree with your comments, and I would also like to add that he washed his hands after having a wee. So much for all the FMs who call him dirty. There's lots in there that don't bother washing their hands.

I thought he gave some of his tokens and shopping money back to make up for the DR punishment by BB anyway. This I think is separate.

Tbh I've not seen an explanation of why he had a token to exchange. He seemed happy though to do something for the HM's rather than himself Smiler

I think commentators on this thread are naive in the extreme if they think Marcus was not using this as opportunity to improve his chances of not being evicted today.

I have quite liked Marcus, so I don't have some agenda against him, but it is screamingly obvious that he is doing this for his advantage. His repeated advertising of his good deed and his sacrifice further reinforce the view. If he could have sacrificed more he would have been even happier.

Of course he is..... Its a game Confused

Isnt the idea of competing in any game to give yourself the best chance of progressing, otherwise why bother?

I get a bit confused when people slag others off for having a gameplan.

Anyone that devotes a possible 13 weeks of their lives to BB without a gameplan is a bit thick if you ask me

There is a difference between a "game plan", which is some long term strategy for success, and utilising opportunities as they arise to make oneself more popular.

I think very few hms have had game plans.

I think every HM goes in with a game plan which obviously has to change as you are not the only player in the game.

Marcus made a tit of himself in the DR and had a plan to redeem himself... nothing wrong with that in my book.

Exactly how blind can some be. Didnt like the fact his gloat about Siavash's predicament was cut out last night. His 'best day' comment I would have liked to have seen.

That's how I saw it. Get the public on his side again. Sweet Marcus, thinking of the others. Roll Eyes

My first thought was he knows this will be televised to the GBP and seen as a magnanimous gesture. No wonder he was extra delighted when Isaac entered the house(tho it was played right down on the HLs).He sat there grinning for hours after declaring 'this is the best day ever'.He then went to comfort Siavash, firstly for more positive air minutes...and secondly someone else for him to lick his wounds with.

Don't ! While I don't like fish/meat etc chip shop chips make me drool! It's the hot vinegar - I'm appalled that in Turkey (hubby's original home land, he's been over here longer now btw) that they don't put vinegar on their chips! It must be a British thing - we asked for vinegar when we had a portion of chips out in Turkey but the guy thought we made a mistake - however years ago his cousin put us up (his mother, hubby's aunt, was off visiting) and I cooked a meal of salad and Spanish omelette and chips and hubby's cousin was transformed by the vinegar! Thumbs Up

.

It did cross my mind it was for the viewers etc, but at least he made an effort in the right direction - I'm beginning to 'prefer' him to stay over Noiren by far - she has to go; she has no redeeming factors imo. Mad
