I love them too. I love it when we get the massive ones on the wall and they stay there for days then just disappear off again.

But I do understand that people can be scared of them. It's weird that they're such a common phobia.

There was one spider that did scare me. It was when i first moved into my flat. Honestly it was the biggest spider i have ever seen. Then it jumped off my wall and chased me into the sitting room. A few weeks later i found it dead under my cooker Frowner I called him Bert

I missed this ?

Did Halfwit kill the spider ?

This is a big thing for me, if he killed it I dislike him more than before, if not I will have to credit him that and dislike him less.

I quite like spiders but I do understand that some people have phobias about them, I dislike some insects eg. earwigs, woodlice but I wouldn't intentionally kill them. They can't help being what they are, they're just trying to survive like the rest of us.

Edit: Remember the BB with the rat ?, BB8 ?, that for me made me support Richard and Pete and put me right off Mikey and Glyn.

no he captured it and let it outside - no spiders were hurt by Freddie Big Grin although they might be a little deaf due to dogface and Siavash screaming Laugh

Ok, fair enough, although I still don't want him to win (quite yet) that goes some way towards his redemption in my eyes.

Most people with a fear of spiders can laugh at themselves. I know I can. Nod

same here - I'm terrified of spiders and my reactions are v similar to Siavash's last night. I cracked up laughing at him, however I also crack up laughing at myself when I've over-reacted to a spider. We dont have dangerous spiders here in Ireland, so I know it's an irrational fear, but that is exactly what a phobia is defined as in the dictionary. Doesnt mean I cant laugh at my own or other people's reactions to a small (but terrifying) harmless insect Smiler
