With my first, I was induced in the morning, had labour pains all day, which stopped at about 11pm, was induced again the next morning and gave birth at 9:15pm.
I didn't like to mention it earlier.

My mum was induced with me and then in labour for 36 hours!
Still if she's had an epidural and it's worked properly she may be able to get a kip whilst it's dragging on.
Happy to announce (at last) that my first grandchild, Jacob, has finally arrived into the world at 6am weighing a whopping ten pounds three ounces!

Thanks - he's a whopper, isn't he! His dad, my son, was only 3lbs 8oz but he was two months premature (luckily for me!)
Thats why he took so long... he was looking at the way out and thinking.... dont fancy that squeeze
