Its the big day tomorrow - they are booked in at the hospital for 8.30 a.m. and she will be induced.

If she's induced then it should be a quick delivery. Wait until you get that first cuddle, it's so special.

Usually the boys mums like us don't get the first cuddle but my DIL's parents live in Oman so I've been so lucky to be around with both of the grandlings and hold them at a few hours old.

My sons GF's mother died many years ago - her parents were divorced and she's not really close to her Dad. I know that's not nice for her but I feel so lucky to be a big part of my grandsons lives!

They live closer to her parents than us but we see them all the time and are close so I don't think it will be an issue - plus we live nearer to the hospital!  I'll be at work tomorrow but am a 5-10 min taxi ride away so am sure I will get a cuddle within the first few hours. 

After all these months of waiting I can't believe it is actually going to happen! 

Today should be the day, Bolton Fan!

There's no progress I'm afraid, only 1cm after 6 hours and waiting for doctor at the moment.  They are getting fed up as they've been there since 8.30 am

She's 4cm now, had waters broken and been given an epidural so hopefully it might not be that much longer!

ooooooh, I am feeling a bit sad that I won't be able to give him a kiss hello in real life.......Give him a smacker for me Bolton (when he finally makes his proud Taurean entrance)
