Bolton Fan   congratulations..two days overdue seems like a lifetime especially to the mother, hopefully your grandchild will be here soon

All three of mine were early - it must seem like a lifetime when you go over the due date. I know it was agony waiting for my grand son to arrive. It's well worth the wait though 

Hopefully it wont be long now - he'll come when he's ready!

He's got a week - if he's not here by next Monday then she's booked in to be induced first thing Tuesday morning so at least we have something to aim for!

Aww I'm pleased for you Boltonfan. I still have the thread from the forum when my DIL went into labour with my first grandson Sebastian. We have printed it out for him to have when he is older.

He's now 2 and a half and has an 11 week old brother Oscar. They are fabulous and I love being a grandma. You will have such a great time when the little one arrives

I wish I still had mine .............my little grandson was due on the 18th December .....................the forum closed over Christmas leaVING everyone (or two or three folks) on tenterhooks ............he was blorn on christmas  day. Wish i'd copied it!

Well we have a little bit of news.  They have just arrived at the hospital for mum to be checked - she's not sure but she felt something and thinks her waters may have broken (sounds like a slow leak!).

Will update when I have further news

My DIL's waters broke on the Thursday night and the hospital sent her home when she went in and told her to come back when she was in proper labour.

Baby didn't come until Saturday morning!!

You won't have any fingernails left if your DIL takes as long BF

Only just seen this thread Bolton, hope you don't have to wait too long - how exciting!

Girl at work has been ordered to have house rest since Jan,she had to have a plug put in at Christmas. her son was due 23rd April, She is tiny and you just thought her body was too tiny to hold him in - he didn't come to the 25th and was 8lbs 10!!

The day's not over yet.... and Mini Bolton may not want to share their moment in the spotlight.  I wouldn't discount anything until the royals have departed later today...
