Yep, you're right Aimee. The telly went from around 5-30pm till sometime after 1-00am. This morning I had to reboot cause none of the remote buttons worked. But it seems to be ok now (touch wood...taps head) Me phone was ok but couldnt get in touch with Virgin on it Broadband was ok too.

I've had a few issues this last week with Virgin Broadband. Their tech support people piss me right off cos they never want to admit it's a problem at their end. Got them right in the knackers last week though cos my tecchy bro was here and had done all of the ping tests and traces and tecchy stuff before we called them, so when I got miss helpful on the phone and she starts with her 'there is nothing wrong at our end' rubbish, my bro gets on the phone and tells her all the tests he's done and said 'And Madam, the tests are indicating that Virgin media.com is taking x amount of seconds to bounce back if at all so I would suggest that the problem is INDEED at your end wouldn't you?' Then she pipes up 'oh erm you could be right'

Sometimes I wish I was clever with all that stuff. But they have had problems nationwide all week, and also, make sure you know which catchment area you're in. I fall under a postcode about 10 miles away.

i've been with virgin for 13yrs  one day a sky canvasser came , sweet talked me into changing ............ BIG mistake , it cost me over ÂĢ250  for two days of sky  plus ÂĢ13.90 for cancelling in the agreed time plus ÂĢ30 for the box i no longer have but they left the bliddy dish  i missed virgin  , never had a problem and i missed catch up tv , sky customer service is atrocious

I must be lucky or something because I have never really had problems (touch wood) in the 6 years we have had Sky, customer services are a bit poor lately, I think they have gone offshore for the call centres, but everything else has always been fine.  SIL has got Virgin and has had some problems, lost everything for most of last night (West Midlands) and so did her son, (Newcastle), so it must have been a nationwide thing.
