We used to hire a bungalow for holidays when I was a kid ....but never went every year....don’t think my parents could afford it

think they saved up all year - dad sometimes worked overtime TBH have since avoided such holidays - my dad liked a drink in the evening - just a couple of beers so we always went to the entertainment
