Same here, only I was a 440 yard runner......started off....then when the games mistress went....did a quick diversion down a bank and into the park to skive off

Ours backed onto countryside so we literally went on cross country runs...or in our case, walks 😂

In the summer, you could cut across fields...but in the winter, we’d have been knee-deep in mud
