The only time I got bitten was when the coach driver in Corfu decided to turn the bus on the beach at night and got stuck. Everyone had to get off the coach and the mozzies feasted on everyone - I had on cropped trousers and they bit around my ankles.

I think it's the reverse for us....old grumpy guts is anything but sweet😂......gawd water and twilight /dark are lethal if you don't cover up😱

Box Hill is part of it and it costs quite a bit to park so that would be free....so would Painshill Park and Polesdon Lacy....all easily reached from here

Box Hill was free when I was a kid ...used to cycle there ...climb it ...have some sandwiches ....and cycle home again 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
