We had an Anderson shelter in our back garden when I was a kid ….left over from the war….my dad used to grow mushrooms in it …until it collapsed with the weight one day 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I was born just after the war ended ….but remember there was still rationing until about 1953 I think

House next door had a concrete one  where the hedgehogs lived underground…..they tried everything to get rid of it, but eventually they actually blew it up ,filled the hole with soil and planted grass over it🤣🤣🤣🤣
