I just don't feel home education is limited and lacks has depth and variety- + a qualified teacher who knows their subject is much better for learning and future options -just my opinion though

my kids were home edded for awhile, when we lived and travelled in Oz,so they did school of the air, (exellent) and then the 2 youngest went to school awhile in Ireland. Then home edded again till they did OU for awhile at 14, then they went to full time college at 16.

Its huge round here now. Lots of local groups, and local musems hold special days for home edders, and we used to go on bird walks, bat watching etc with the museum.
