do you remember your mum hanging out the washing when it was very cold and it froze?

I was telling a young friend of mine who was saying about the cost of her tumble drier to try and peg hers out, as when the air is dry, even if cold, it does dry the washing quite a lot. She had thought it didn't dry it at all. But mine has dried quite well again today.

Yes, I remember doing that I have to admit I dry mine in the tumble dryer these days ….
