she needs cafes local in case she is not up to cooking and easy food shopping.

Yep ! Mr B and I considered it at one point , but when he got ill etc I was really, really pleased we hadn’t gone .

Its not easy owning abroad.

Even if its a 2nd home, you still have ongoing costs/maintenance.

Those stairs look a death trap And given her joint problems I can’t see that helping !
