Home schooling is ok, but it means the kids miss out on the socialising with other kids !

mine went to primary schools but were home educated in later years, after we came back from abroad, and it went great, as there are so many not in school now, We used to go to home ed clubs, museum days for home edders, nature walks with home edders etc, as we (and other home edders used to say), the world was our classroom. We could go away on hols when we wanted too.

They went to college when they got to 16.

I couldnt find her at 1st either, all I could see here was someone paid 60k for a meal, then our Baz suddenly popped up.

Wow But at least yours had other home edders etc….it’s not quite the same as that family doing theirs in a motor home …

yes don't think I could have coped with home ed in a van.

We needed space for all their projects and hobbies.

True…..but I taught my daughter to read,write and spell before she started school, as did a lot of parents back in the day

yes now many kiddies start school at 3, that early learning has been handed to the state by many.

Yes, and tbh I think they should , especially on a narrow road like they were on ….they could have caused a nasty accident given there were no lights around there !

There’s a Traveller problem….parking on sports fields and private land….causing a right mess and a crime wave
