Why do they eat them ?
I don’t think the intention is to eat them, they pick them up to play with them, then accidentally swallow them.
When I was young, I “hid” my brother’s steel marble in my mouth, and accidentally swallowed it. Had to get an x-ray to see where it was. Fortunately, it was just a case of letting nature take its course 🙈😂
