damn Omicron...we just heard they cancelled the Christmas swim we always go and watch, so charity loses out on thousands. And local panto cancelled, so son lost out on a job after Christmas.
But now they say most omicron is just a cold now.
Donβt drop it!π±

could be, think they used to have work bubbles.
things have changed so much, its hard to remember what rules we had and when...
but if you are an MP, looks like they just ignored all rules.

@Rocking Ros Rose posted:wow must be in a bubble like kaytee said
Well there werenβt any regulations in November β¦.in fact there still arenβt in England !
@*mollie* posted:what a shame, hopefully if the latest news today is right, it will be mild.
Yes, but they will still be in isolation after Xmas β¦.even if none of the rest of the family get it .

awww shame your son missed out on his job think Draky is just trying to keep everyone safe and protecting the NHS but it can be frustrating at times

yes I forget bazzy - we have always had to wear masks here -I struggled in Wirral with that tbh
@Baz posted:Well there werenβt any regulations in November β¦.in fact there still arenβt in England !
good, too many pointless regulations introduced here again...
cancelling an annual charity swim due to government regulation is stupid.
As is, having to wear masks to go in the pub then take it off when seated.
And a Β£60 fine if you don't work from home, but you can still go in the pub/cafe to work.

gosh how complicated this all is...
they never got rid of the mask thing here, but many have got fed up of it now. I am guessing a lot of people are like us and have had covid already.
