Oh, there's an idea. I have to start eating more healthily. (Doctors or rather nurse's orders) I bought a chop and one of those small one person packs of asparagus. I now need the sweetcorn and runner beans

My sister the 'veggie' was in hospital recently (she's fine), the dinner lady looked at her as if she had two heads when she said she was veggie. 'So, you're sure you don't want the chicken curry?' 'Jelly and ice cream?' 'soup?, chicken and veg? no?' 'what can i get you then?' 'Salad, ok, no EGG or mayo?, you sure?'

You can always tell a good restaurant by it's veggie menu.

My best pal is a veggie, and actually never dictates or rants on about it at all.. it's simply her choice..  She doesn't even mention it unless the subject is raised for whatever reason. She gets stick for it though (from some...)  People generally tend to fall in to 2 categories... one wanting to know 'why' she is a veggie... and telling her 'why she shouldn't be one... ' and the other saying 'I love my meat I do,' and blathering on for ages to her; justifying why 'they' eat it, as if she wants or needs to know....  It can be hard going fo her...

Actually in all honesty. I know my posts can come through as being flippant at times. Everyone to their own. I wouldn't want anyone to think that I know better
