What kind of mushrooms?

With the spuds, I would make what we call cheesy potatoes.  Slice the potates as thin as you can and layer with sliced onions and cheese sauce and cover with foil.  Bake for about an hour until potatoes are tender then take the foil off and bake for about 15 minutes more until it gets crispy on top.

I was just going to suggest something similar suzi, but in a jacket potato style.

chop up the mushroom and onions, fry them in a bit of oil in the pan, but a small bit of milk in with them turn up the heat till the milk steams off abit, chuck in a bit of grated cheese....bake a potato in the oven, or the microwave depending on how hungry you are, pour the sauce over the jacket potato and sprinkle some more cheese on top

If you need a curry - then just microwave the onions (about 500gms) add the raw mushrooms to a 'pataks -Karai' curry sauce' and serve with a pilau rice (roast a butternut squash and add to basmati rice and cook until the rice is (sp? )done - serve with pompadoms! As a veggie - 38 yrs!
i never use sauces but i have loads of garlic, ginger, chilis and spices. curry definitely possible.  oh yes.  i could put in some fried spud chunks instead of squash.

I know only too well how one can be sensitive to smells/aromas (hubby is now paranoid!) however, a good while ago someone on the BB site suggested 'korai' sauce - god, since then I'm (as a veggie) I'm adicted to it - it is fab!( I'm 51 and my family are paranoid to my ability to sniff out aromas good/bad! ).

Probably.
Yogurts, alpro or other are always on the menu here - I adore garlic and chilli - I do shower like a maniac, altjough heat wise I'm a loner in this house hold - hubby was checked out without a stomach 'magicn eye' only on Tuesday _ I guess he has a dairy intolerance too - he won't admit it tho' - plus if he eats lamb!
