 I know what you mean Syd I did quite well this year though....I've just got an unopened joint of ham left, and that's it..... of course now I've got to stock up again for NY!!

I don't like it before its fried, but that sounds positively gross 


If it's a dumpling style pud (i.e. steamed) then it's much the same as frying black/white/ fruty puding(the stuff you get from a butcher's to go with your sausage and bacon fry-up).

its the fried fruit that makes me think  I don't like any fruit cake at all, so the thought of it being fried is a big  mind you, if we all had the same taste, what a boring lot we would be
