The Democrats and Republicans have different systems.

For the Democrats 2,383 delegates are needed for nomination. So far Clinton has 1,748 and Sanders 1,058. There are still 1,959 delegates available.

For the Republicans, 1,237 delegates are needed for nomination. So far Trump has 743 and Cruz 517. There are still 882 delegates available.
