Anyhoo - I'm never buying a ruddy Shark again - two we've had and both broken after approx 2yrs. Repair bloke said they aren't worth repairing and recommended a VAX but I don't like the triangle-y head, preferring a rectangle for all those lil nooks and crannies.

Nelson & Wellington must be spinning in their graves at this one - once dynamic and fearless, now domesticated and apologetic - sigh

Any advice before I fork a handsome sum of no more than about £70
