Normally I would put glasses, dishes, etc in the cupboards the right way up, but today found myself putting them in upside down, because this is how stuffs kept at work...

No.... don't be putting other ideas in my head.... Now i'll have to worry which is the lesser of two evils, dust or smells. I'm only just coming to terms with the council expecting me to keep a bucket of food scraps in my kitchen.... it sits in the corner pulsating and making me ill...

Im telling you a quick swill of water and the dust will be gone..... a quick swill of water could make the smell worse

No, no, diffusion would make the smell go but a quick swill of water just spreads the dust inside the cup/glass unless it's a proper wash!
Right way up..... I know lots of people store them the other way (including my kids) but I just don't like the thought of the rim of cups and glasses sitting on the surface of the cupboard shelf

Same here Baz and nothings in my cupboards long enough to collect dust but I still rinse everything including pans before I use them....

Nah, just do things the right way
I dont think there is anything right with mug trees
LOL! Why?
I think they are unnecessary clutter
I have glasses and mugs upside down just because my mother used to worry about mice droppings and I've never been able to shake off that thought.
Eileen
I dont think there is anything right with mug trees
I only have six mugs on the mug tree, the others are in the cupboard.

Guilty as charged Zazz
I think they are unnecessary clutter
Ah right. I guess it's how much space you have in your kitchen, saying that mine's only a small one and I have my mugs on a tree. The ones I use most. There are some in the cupboard too
