Thats what my quack has told me to do. I was doing everything wrong. I spent 4 hours at a farm the other week and he said it is too much too soon. So as you say little by little.

I've been there and thought I'd never get to a point where I felt 'normal' but it does come - it's a long slow process so don't rush it. People who have never experienced the like cant comprehend it, it's so bad - so good on you! Thumbs Up I was suffering from panics/anxiety etc and they found out that I had a B12 deficiency at a young age, I was unusual in that I was probably born with it as my count was so low - 54 - at 47 I was diagnosed, late but believe me it changed my life - have yours checked.

And so you should be Hug, every step is a challenge in every walk of life however big or small they are.

Big congrats to you lass Valentine

well done you Clapping

i suffered with vertigo a couple of years ago and in turn then made me panic if i wanted to go out cause i thought i would fall over, i had it for 9 months, had to pack in work and hardly ever went out unless someone would come with me so i could hold onto them, made life very misberable, then when i started to feel better, i used to walk to the corner and then abit further until 1 day i walked to the corner shop and back again, i was so excitied i phoned all my family and friends to say i'd done it Laugh

still get panicky now and again, but i take deep breaths and count to 10

Well done to you too then for overcoming it!! Clapping

It gives me so much more courage when I know other people have suffered and come out the other end happy!

I get a bit embarassed when I am walking because of people looking at me. But they are aware of my situation and shout out to me go on you can do it lol I just want to be invisible.

Thats how I get hot and wobbly. It isn't pleasant but my therapist is making me see that it won't do any harm. Hard but effective.

Yes, it's known as 'pernicious anaemia' your stomach cannot convert the vitamin as it needs an 'intrinsic factor' to do this - in this case your body cannot produce this so you have to have B12 given through injection to pass the stomach that will disregard it. Sounds a simple thing but has really serious effects - I feel so much better with this injection and really know about 3 week before my injection is due as I become so tired and my mouth is so dry, I never go any where without water.

go to NHS direct, it's all there.

They do reckon Scandinavian women over 60 are more at risk but as I said earlier I was in my late 40's being diagnosed - it is hereditary and my late Mum's sister (who's in her late 70'sbtw) has had it for years. I'm known for my water intake - it' dire even being 'watched' by my GP. My tongue is like a budgie's most of the time!

The vitamin is B12 btw.

I even manage to stand there for 5 minutes and let the panic get on with itself.

Slowly but surely I will get to that main road!!

My friend has pernicious aneamia. She had it diagnosed a couple of years ago but we were worried when we had no idea what it was. She was in such a slump, couldn't do anything, no energy, wanted to just stay in bed. She is the same as you, can feel it coming weeks before.

EDIT - PS Well done Lara, brave lady Valentine
L
Lara that is great!! Well done. Clapping
I know what it took to achieve it as I had
post traumatic stress disorder a while back
and couldn't bear to be on my own.

It took many months to lose that fear and I remember the cold sweats when my o/h used to
take me into town and leave me alone for firstly
15 minutes then lengthening each week. It was
quite scary....no terrifying, but you can get
over it. I did and I wish you all the very
best. Hug
