I'm excited!
We may need to have a special forum countdown or something. Build the tension...
I'm sure there's a Widget for that!
See, -------->
told you!
Aww.....I liked the other one (with the number of days in a big green oblong) better.

Maybe.
What do you mean by that, Baz?
Also, are there still coggy issues happening for anyone?
And did you see the countdown timer?
Oh, nm. I see you posted an explanation. I'll go find out!

Was just gonna look for that for you Lori
Cogs seem to have gone now
Baz, I've been told that you will be able to use browser controls to increase the font size (but you can also do that currently.)
Look back a few posts Lori, If peeps didn't see it for themselves, I've pointer it out to them,

On the right-hand strip, just above the Surveys.
Err, Somebody say something about poor eyesight?

In Lori's opening post she mentions that the support site is already using the new version. Link to this if you want to have a look at it. You do need to be logged in though to be able to see it properly otherwise you won't see anything about Post or the posting reply section. You may already be registered with the same login details as here (if you have been a member for some time and haven't changed the details) or you may need to register.
The structure of that site is a bit different to here as it serves a different purpose to a forum but posting should be very similar.
There's a green Post button on every page - that's for posting a new topic.
On threads, the row of icons at the end of each comment is replaced with a Take Action.
The existing Post Reply button is no longer needed as the Add Reply box is shown at the end.
The icons in the Add Reply box are different in appearance to the exisitng ones and there are some changes. These have not yet been finalised so they could change but probably not now.
One of the changes I'm aware of is that the underline and strikethrough icons have gone but are accessed via Formats-Inline.
Social Strata decided not to have a Font Size drop down box. There is a way to use different font sizes in a post but that's by using HTML code.
Thanks for the heads up.

Never going to come to terms with that lot.........
*looks for new simpler forum*
Just joking, of course. I can get Bazzy to explain it to me. She is my technical advisor
Mind you she doesn't know it yet

I think you will find it no more complicated than it is at present, just a bit different.
Hopefully
If the size of the font for the countdown is correct then I will be well happy Goes to look at the support site
Wow .....if it looks like that I'm loving it So much clearer and brighter ....much easier to read from my iPad
Yep! I agree!
Glad you like it!
Ooooo that's a point Sweet ....would be great to be able to catch the Bus again
Well it will be well used by me then Sweet
I'm sorry..I just tested to see if there was any change, and there is not. It's the same as it is now: you can see the actual time on mouse hover, but that doesn't help you on the phone or the ipad. Sorry!

Can we not have a count down ....like over >>>>>>>
I might be able to do that...but how do you see that working? The countdown clock would go down to 10:00 every 12 hours..but how would that change your posting times?
