I think so, i used to laugh at that phrase. I know a few people who either say it or have heard it.


I tend to come out with Northern Phrases, and wonder why people have not heard of them.

I mean i call bread rolls... bread buns as well ,and i get told that is just not right

and Pants is also trousers as well as underwear... just where you come from i suppose.

I have a million others


I said I'm sick as a chip, the other day, and no-one had heard of it!!

Must be just me.
