If that's what they stand for, then Lord help us.

That is exactly what worries me about Farage. People (idiots) might vote for him for those reasons. I was at a wedding last weekend in Easington Lane & I was taken aback by the amount of signs in gardens there advertising "I Am Voting UKIP".

But are they really, or are they just doing it as a wind-up? Though some of them will be genuinely meaning it, no doubt!

Common sense is subjective so forgive me if I don't agree.

I think they were serious signs. I really can't imagine anyone putting a sign that is basically like a house For Sale sign in their garden as wind-up.

Well Cologne - have sleepless nights but it won't get you anywhere.

I'm totally relaxed about the silliness i see being passed off as serious politics.

I was wondering  ... what you do with all this concern for the country?

Stop being a dick. There was no need for that last comment.

Ah ya big eejit    Its a forum! What else is the place for but to discuss things?

Forum definition: a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged

The common retort of Ukip types is...

Just because you're against immigration, doesn't make you 'a racist'.  The politically correct liberal elite have stamped on debate by saying anyone who disagrees with immigration, is a racist!

The point is true, but let's face it, if you bang on about immigration all the time and make immigration a sole point of your policy and the main scapegoat for the country's ills, you probably are a racist and hold a racist philosophy.  That's not say that just because you disagree with immigration policy you must be a racist, just that Ukip are a magnet for racist, white supremacist, f***wits!

I think you've put that into words very well.

Soozy Woo

This excuse of a man is so, so ignorant. It's people like this that exudes immense feelings of despair with mankind. I am a 60 yr old white anglo saxon male who lives and works in London. I worked in Saudi Arabia for 8+ yrs and understand a great deal about Islam, the unfortunate tensions between the Sunni and Shiite yet, I do NOT hate Muslims, do NOT hate African or Caribbean people. In fact, I do not hate anyone! There are villains, criminals, users and abusers in all walks of life, it's the way they are I guess. I cannot say I love Lenny Henry but, for me, he is a fantastic example of what's cool about the British. I'd rather be Lenny Henry with his talents and skills than what I run across on a daily basis being black, white, Asian etc. Lenny makes me laugh AND..... he is loved by the Royal Family too!  This idiot WILLIAM HENWOOD, who I have never heard of has contributed NOTHING to British society, NOTHING! If Lenny was up for Prime Minister, he'll get my vote..
