I agree saz, it's really easy to make it yourself without all the shoite they put into it. Takes a few minutes, tastes better and is better for the body.
Hobbes | Yeww he sounds like a right pleb! |
Not quite! He's not quite precious enough to have it on his Sunday dinner
Pepsi, we all know he's not a pleb anyway.

I am. Cold pizza and artichoke soup for me tonight.
I would have that tomorrow morning Antilope.

Croc, I love anything that swims, in a hard coat or just a fish.
My Mam ate raw sea urchin while she was away, Maori style. Apparently you just break into it and slurp. She said it was gorgeous.
Eww....i was just sick a bit in my mouth!!
I just cannot bring myself to eat any of it....I can be in the same room as someone eating fish but not other seafood.

It was swimming in a tomatoey, garlicky sauce
Squiddly Diddly!!
We just had nachos made with chilli Doritos while watching Percy Jackson and the lightning thief
I like most seafood but I'm not as brave as my Mam. Dunno if I could've done that

love octopus .. although I didn't like seeing the greek fishermen land some in Mikonus (sp again ) years ago, they got hold of it by its legs and smashed its brains on the quay

I like octopus and squid. Once we were out for a meal and my sis got the seafood pasta and there was a whole baby octopus sitting on top of it "looking at her"...we persuaded her to give it a go and she loved it...took ages to get her to do it She'd eat it normally but I think coz it was whole...freaked her out.

My idea of an ideal Saturday night meal would be home made Thai food.
Most seafood isn't slimy at all Issy. Eel is. That's vile. Mr L used to catch them and eat the all the time. Yuck.

I tried squid once....
It tasted too fishy..
And yes I know that sounds daft but I don't like overly fishy fish..
Oh dear.... that sounded so much better in my head..

Raw scallops are a good laugh. Have to admit to not being wholely convinced by oysters though. Am yet to have that particular bivalve epiphany.

Thai food is great

I love all sorts of seafood/shellfish, but I would never eat eel (it just seems too weird), or oysters (like swallowing snot) or escargot (not sure if they count as seafood, but they are a big no no for me)

No, I know what you mean. Hoki is a very mild fish with a firm texture. It's lovely, one of my faves.
Though I love seafood and fish I am picky with fish, don't like mackerel or stuff like that.

LOL. Don't get me wrong, I like oysters, just not to the extent that some seem to rave about them. Best I had was in the shell, dressed with tiny cubes of pickled apple and a touch of caviar. Pretty smert. Not convinced by the idea of sitting eating 2 dozen of the buggers with a pint of Guiness though.

love mackerel, and sardines and real fishy fish
I just love fish really
i think I'd give escargot a go (don't think they do count ) never had oysters...I would take some persuading, I think. Though my bro reckons they are gorgeous lightly fried...literally just for a few seconds.
Any seafood for me, raw or cooked.
Ooh no can't do sardines, and anchovies freak me out. Away with you evil little things!
Antiope - well, you are streets ahead of me ... I watch my husband putting tabasco on them and opening his throat and swallowing and I, well, I gag
Escargot are wonderful if you like jelly kind of things. They have no real taste, it is down to your own taste.
