I really enjoy Twitter BB...I dont do any posting though, I just have got quite a few of celebs Im interested in and have had some good laughs and seen some great pics theyve posted...

I use twitter I'm Rubberband_girl.

I don't think you can compare it to a forum because you have to keep tweets to a minum number of characters, but it's quite good fun and I've had some nice chats on it.

Oh and I recommend installing and using Tweet Deck too. It makes it much easier to keep up with conversations.

What is Tweetdeck QHT's?... I seen it mentioned, but as I am just a lurker mostly, I havent looked into it???

It's just an application that lets you have all your twitter info on one screen. It opens independently from normal internet windows and brings up three columns. One has all the public stuff that friends/people you are following tweet, another column lets you see any replies to your public or private tweets, and the third one is for direct messages which are completely private. It is worth downloading, it doesn't cost anything and I find it much easier to use.

I joined Twitter by mistake when I was trying to get on here after C4 forums closed. I've never posted on it though or even looked at it. However I keep getting e-mails saying "so and so is following you on Twitter"
God knows how they're managing to do that because I've never actually been on it!.

I love Twitter

It's less intrusive that sites like Fakebook and you can Tweet on the move

Artmags - you can have any user name you like so for example, skynews has a twitter account.
it just means if you are on twitter and you "follow" skynews you will get an update of the latest headlines. it does not need to be pervy. i see it as more "following" in the sense of following a religion or a belief or "following a soap" rather than the stalking kind of following. stephen fry has a quiz going and he updates you on the latest word meanings and stuff. the little cat would be purrfect for example as she could just summarise her day as she goes, just like pengys dog does.
I like it because none of my reallife friends are there so i can let off steam without anyone i really know seeing it (unlike facebook where they do).

I'm following you too Pengy. My dog Wilfy has his own account although it rarely gets updated these days as I got fed up with having to do his typing for him.
