A radio show in Ireland has challenged Facebook about a contributor saying he/she will 'Kill both of the twins' if they win. The presenter Gerry Ryan has asked Facebook why they are allowing this site to remain open when it clearly contravenes all legal and moral stipulations. They have not issued a reply as yet.I'm not on FB but surely death threats are reason enough to close a site. Jesus, there are some sick bunnies out there.

If you'd told us a couple of months ago that those insufferable Irish twins were going to be one of the most popular X Factor acts ever ever ever, we'd've slapped you in the face with a Journey South CD single. But now, Jedward have had so much attention that the other acts on the show are starting to get a bit cheesed off.

"John and Edward have their most ambitious performance of the series tonight and have needed lots of rehearsal time to get it right but it has gone down like a lead balloon with some of their competitors, who feel the boys are getting special treatment," says someone in the know, perhaps one of the ghosts they'll be eliminating. "Some of the acts think it gives them an unfair advantage in the race to win the X Factor recording contract and have been bitching and moaning about it. In fairness, it isn't Jedward's fault. It is their most elaborate routine to date and they need to practise but the others are getting pretty fed-up."

We wonder who's the most pissed off? Can't possibly imagine who *coughdanylcough* would take such a thing so seriously, can you?

And it's not only the routine itself that's rubbed some of the others up the wrong way - there are scheduling issues too. "Simon Cowell isn't an idiot," the ghost goes on. Really? Do explain why. "He realises that many viewers will be tuning in specifically to see them. He wants to keep them watching right until the very end. But this has upset some of their rivals. Everyone likes to perform towards to end of the show as it is closer to when the voting lines open and their performances are obviously fresher in the minds of the voting public."

Yeah, that's right, we're basically goldfish and can't remember things that have happened five minutes previously, let alone a whole hour previously. Maybe the X Factor should show little montages of all the performances, pretty much every five minutes until the lines close? Oh, they already do that? We wouldn't know. We are, as stated, goldfish.

What a bunch of rubbish by the papers. Most of the contestants genuinely like Jedward from what i've seen because they're quite popular in the house.

hi DB.  Do you think they will go?  I don't watch it normally, so don't know what the other act is like.  The public are fickle though, they could stay.  I hope they do.  But if they do leave, I can see them doing Children's telly as they are a likeable pair of lads and young kids seem to like them.  And old fogeys like me lol.
