Over all I enjoyed it and I liked the intertwined stories and the reveal.

Makes a nice change from all out action films, but I do need to go to bed on a lighter note, so a bit of American Dad is needed

I recorded it on the recommendation of a friend - was listening to music but had the telly on mute - it looked really sad.   George, as usual, looked gorgeous.

Just saw it on +1, it was very good. Quite sad but there were parts I burst out laughing too.

Saw it at the cinema and thought it very good. Recommended it to my parents: Mum loved it, and Dad had to admit he liked it too, even though he complained about it being "a right weepy".

Apart from its Oscar win, it will probably be most noted in the future as the breakthrough movie for Shailene Woodley...

Eugene's Lair

I'm gonna have to catgch up on this thread at some point but i had to post about a show called The Strain.... I'm pretty sure someone (could have been Beth) put me on to it in the BB/CBB HL thread (i have a really bad memory)

Anyway, i love it! I've just watched the latest eppy from the US and it's good stuff, so thank you to who ever it was who gave me the tip

One of the sequences I found fascinating was the cat who didn't travel far from his garden each day. He seemed very nervous but it was only when they set up cameras that they found out why: unknown to the owners, at least 3 other toms keep trespassing on "his" territory, and he spends most of his time fighting them off...

Can't remember where I heard it, but I did know that. Also even if there is only one father, it's not always the first male to mate with her. I seem to recall that it's to help with genetic diversity...

Fascinating show so far.

Ditto

I'll be buying the dvd as soon as it's released. I get withdrawal symptoms if I don't get my Lewis and Hathaway fix.

Did you watch the new Robson Green drama? I've recorded it - I like Robson too.
