Eruption's flipper still works, but they're being ripped apart!

I loved the slo-mo wobble in the air as Carbide was lifted off the arena floor.
Thanks for the company Eugene. I enjoyed that.

Eruption now has the best record of any robot against Carbide - they lasted 2 minutes!

You would have enjoyed it as some of the pairings really went for it. Even the arena took a beating. If you get chance have an iPlayer session.
I've just watched the latest Line of Duty and I can't say strongly enough how much I want to throw something at the screen when the Thandie Newton character is on
Car Share - Episode 2.
Still enjoying it.

Yes Baz. It's into series 2 now (only four episodes). I'm not a Peter Kay fan, but really enjoy this show. You caught it at the end of an Ep, which was not really going anywhere. We are waiting for them to get together - will they, won't they?
Victoria Wood series - looking back with clips.

No probs. I find the quality of the jokes makes you forget and just enjoy the show. I still love the Acorn Antiques sketches.

She was such a fabulous talent, she's a great loss.

Yes, she was brilliant ....and always seemed like a nice person to boot
Kitty (Hyacinth Bucket) monologue
I wonder if that is where she was created?
Recorded "Car Share" and am watching "Billy Connolly & Me". I was concerned it would be rather like a tribute show for dead celebrity only while their still alive - and it sort-of is, but I've just been laughing throughout.
Best moment among a programme full of them: the story of the bloke suffering from depression whose doctor prescribed an hour of Billy Connolly every day for six weeks!

Watched heats 3, 4, 5 and the final in 2 '2 hour' sessions yesterday. Although the final was fairly spectacular, I actually enjoyed heats 4 and 5 the most.
A new series of HIGNFY about to start on BBC1 - I wonder what they will find to talk about?
i just watched the last couple of episodes of 13 reasons why
i cried
what a programme
Watching Soham: 15yrs on
Wow 15yrs !!
Just tragic - I could never be a prison officer
@Former Member
Have you been watching Murder in Successville?
I caught an episode with Richard Osman and it was really funny. The best bit is when they are 'corpsing', just cracks me up.
The LOD finale was brilliant .....unlike Broadchurch .....the main strands were satisfactorily wound up ...but several left to tantalise for the next series ....I loved every minute of it
Extreme Cake Making on Channel 4 - Who watched?
I did
@Kaytee@Baz@Yogi19@Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing@Amythist@Former Member@Saint
@Ducky@Dame_Ann_Average@Former Member
and at anyone else who watches food type progs.
I watched it EC ....I didn't like the first one , but thought the other two were very good ...I loved the edible lace But all the way through I was thinking of Cherish and her tape measure
You forget that I work for the NHS in Scotland and that we have NEVER had a holiday on the first Monday of May. I was still on a bus travelling home at 17:30!

It's very good. Made in Scarlett Johansson's annus mirabilis of 2003, when she starred in both this and "Lost in Translation" while still only 19!
...and didn't get an Oscar nomination for either...
I realise it's been on iPlayer for weeks, but the last episode (ever!) of "Care Share" is just about to start. Hankies at the ready...
