Well done Amythist. I have never understood the attraction. Unrealistic neighbourhoods with the same cyclic events happening to both established and new people over and over again. Let's face it, watch it for a year and you have seen it all.
When will it end?????????

I feel your pain Syd... between this and Emmerdale (just about to watch tonight's) I'm drained this week.... and I don't even watch Emmerdale as rule, so I don't know who anyone is
They aren't soft soaping us with the tension are they....I feel exhausted after Emmerdale and Corrie....I am still getting over Martha Longhurst.....
SYD!!!!!! Hold my hand ! How bloomin' brilliant is this? I'll never understand people who slag this as 'only a soap'

Pffft!! It's not meant to be real life...
I gave them up years ago ....but recently got drawn back into EE I think the thing is , along with the drama , they provide a *familiarity* .....a bit like a comfort blanket Oh and Syd , I still haven't got over Martha Longhurst either

Oh yes.. and I always think Corrie's particularly good at that and at injecting humour in the midst of the drama too - I mean not like real life as in all that doesn't happen in one street and to one group of people, but I'm happy suspending a bit of belief for half an hour at a time.
Oh and, yes, Lily was really good!
Anyone like Holby, on a Tuesday night?

Actually I happen to know it took seven minutes. one minute longer than Pink Floyd. But if you happen to listen to ^ it is a cover of sorts.

I don't think it is the government, I think it is ....Money....the quest now is for money, a better (and we have never had it so good) life, latest gadgets, a right for it all and a hatred for those that have it.....

We have, and 'progression', sometimes when you are forced to see, money does not always make you happy, or the latest gadget, or being given money without the pride of working for it.....
I grant you Syd, money doesn't make everyone happy, but a decent living does, and this government doesn't provide those young people with one

Lack of employment because of 'progress' has a lot to do with unemployment....
We are asked to read our own meters or get a smart reader, put our own shopping through the tills...one postal service a day, ride a train without a driver, shop online without an assistant.......I could go on.....

'Progress' and 'money makers', people sitting around board tables, the 'Government' just have to sort out the problems 'of the times' and try to keep people 'sweet'......
