The Durrells is really good. Perhaps ITV might repeat it at some point, or you could watch it on the itv player?

Hidden Britain by Drone sounds interesting. Is it aerial shots of Britain?

No, not quite. They do have some drone type shots, but at the moment they are looking at "Imber", a deserted village in Salisbury Plain. Not accessible by the public.

They have also looked at the Dyson company.

Next they are looking at someone who live in the sea and declared themselves an independent nation!

I'm quite enjoying it actually. Tony Robinson is the narrator/presenter.

Do you know? I've never watched a single thing on Sky 1!

Nor me GJ.  However recently I  succumbed to the evil empire, as there was a deal -  Nowtv - 6 months movies and tv for ÂĢ49.99. The latest The Walking Dead episodes and the upcoming Game of Thrones series was too much temptation.

Also I only allow myself the movies when I'm on the treadmill so its a carrot thing.

Homeland, Orange Is The New Black, Narcos, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix?

Or Prison Break on Amazon? Has anyone seen these please?  I'd like something, preferably a bit adrenaline pumping, to keep me going on the treadmill. Would be grateful for any other recommendations [ b.t.w. The Walking Dead was the most treadmill friendly so far... so scary you run like the clappers!   ].

Currently halfway through the first season of Deadwood which is ok... will stick with it, as apparently it gets better.

Also, just finished the second season of Better Call Saul on Netflix - actually enjoyed it more than Breaking Bad. Much less "action"" but the characters are great, and building up, layer by layer.

Sorry for the essay

For anyone who likes dark detective series Hinterland returns tonight on BBC4 at 21.00, first of a five part series. Bilngual in English and Welsh with subtitles in English. Gaelic noir.

You beat me to it, El Loro. I enjoyed the first series, but it's taken ages for the 2nd series to get a full UK broadcast. Tonight's episode - which is being billed as episode 1 - was (I believe) originally broadcast as a New Year's Day special on S4C back in January 2015...
