Eugene,

Last night I caught the first episode of the second series of Gotham. I really enjoyed it and realised that having not seen series one I am missing out on quite a bit of the story so far. So I managed to find a website that provides "review" copies of programmes and have downloaded to do a quick catchup.

Sorry I missed your post, EC.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. And yes: you've got a bit of catching up to do.

Some US series only do a "half-size" first series to test the waters as it were, but Gotham series 1 was a proper full series of 22 episodes. It's worth working through, though: a large part of the fun of Gotham is watching the gradual development of future, better-known villains...

I'm, really looking forward to the series. I could see from the one episode some fledgling villains which were somewhat recognisable.

It's going to be a marathon viewing session. Although I have half of Season 2 download - I presume US are in front.

They are this series. For Series 1, C5 followed the US broadcasts fairly quickly, but they've left a big delay this time (this seems to be a bit of a trend this year: E4 have only just started broadcasting the 2nd series of "Agents of SHIELD" too).

(Like most major US TV series, "Gotham" is on a long Winter break just now, which is why only half the series is up at the moment. They start broadcasting the rest at the end of February.)

2.5 billion ....and 100 million a year Maybe it was worth it then

Can you imagine that kind of money - I can't.

It begs the question, if that is the divorce settlement, how much is her husband worth?

Exactly .....on both counts ....and she uses it to look like that !!!!

I think her problem is that she went too far too long ago and it looks like there is nothing much that can now be done.

She is in her 70's, you would never know.

Good idea. I think you have seen enough on programmes like this to know what an absolute mess they can get into.
