I've got it on but recording it too. I can't multitask

It will be interesting for me as I heard they did not do as well this year, beaten by Sainsbury's !!
Then there was that dreadful advert.
It's not Christmas yet
I do that....check out what's available in the high street and then order on line cheaper Mind you...there;s not much choice in my high street
People must be nuts doing that !!! Do it online ....save getting run over in the crush !

If they sold the goods at more reasonable prices then maybe they would have a more constant stream of sales throughout the year.
You can't blame the GBP waiting for sales.
I find all this slogan pushing "Be the Future" to it's staff a bit cringe.

Having said that I've ordered two things via JL recently and it all went like clockwork

That could be said of a lot of companies For instance, I love M&S stuff, but even if I was working, a lot of it is just to expensive for me

I've applied for jobs that want you to jump through hoops as per customer service. OK, I'll do my job nd be polite and all the rest of it but they just can't /won't see through that

Yes, my comment was not John Lewis exclusive. All stores should price better rather than rely on regular sales. I always wonder when I see a product ÂĢ60 cheaper than it was a few weeks ago, exactly how much profit is being made, considering they would be unlikely to sell it at a loss even with a big discount.
I agree with that woman. Xmas should start on !st December, plenty early enough. Not August like some stores in Sheffield were doing this year.

I often wonder about that too. If we as a country can sell goods cheap surely that has to be good for us? Unless it's the European/overseas thing
That lady does not look like she needs to be price sensitive.

No But 90 presents
It's al about the advertising
I think they need real people to tell them exactly how that advert completely missed the mark.
And.....although I'm not religious in any way.......maybe we have forgotten what xmas is all about

Yes, people seem to forget a lot of the traditions have come from pagan festivals.
I didn't think much of Oxford Street lights this year ....very down market I felt
I'd like to see their leccy bill

Scrooge !
I was going to look for my synopsis of the advert but can't remember where it is, but they are dead right that is it a miserable, lonely, down tempo, desperate advert.

Just because I don't want to partake in Xmas I don't stop others which is why I gift cash, the most versatile gift of all.
