I'm buying Mad Men as I have heard more positive reviews than bad, what do you think to it?

"Mad Men" is really terrific TV: the sort of show that rewards fans who follow it right through. It was a very sad day for me when the BBC last the rights to Sky (as part of the creation of Sky Atlantic).

I agree Eugene     Hope you managed to catch all of the series, despite that?

I thought the quality dipped slightly towards the latter stages? Or maybe it was just impossible to maintain the excellence of series 4 and 5. The amount of times I've watched The Suitcase... S 4 Ep7 ....best hour of television ever possibly.

American Dad series 10 starts tonight on BBC3  @ 11pm. Double bill too

Someone told me about a prog that was on last night that was quite interesting ...and funny. Called that's so last century, mainly about kids getting to grips with old technology like Sony Walkmans and things like that   It was on C4 last night but I believe it's repeated on four 7 tomorrow night and at various times throughout the weekend. I might record and give it a watch

No Rog and I have not yet seen GOT either - I'm so behind the times 

Nah soz Rog, unless it's something that really catches me. TBH the tellybox for me is for background noise only (you can take my telly but I'd kill anyone that tried to take my broadband and pooter)

Mostly I do that as well. Have it on permanently as background noise, just watching the odd programme.

Most of my time is spent on the computer either reading, buying or corresponding on forums such as this.
