Have you been watching "Hunted" on C4? The "hunters" get up to some very scary stuff on that show - all of it apparently legitimate powers at the disposal of the (real-life) authorities! 

I was aware from the adverts that the show was starting, but I have not tuned into it. I shall Google when it's finished to see who won out of curiosity. 

I would have thought going off grid would be the first thing, the second would be to set-up camp either on Snowdonia or down Cheddar Gorge.

it is, Cos - she's also in another new show on Tuesday.  'River'  detective who 'sees' ghosts of murdered people.. but actually, it's a symptom of his mental health or something.    Haven't read up on it properly, but I'll record anyway - I like her.

Yes Cosi, it's Nicola Walker. I loved her in Spooks and Last Tango. In fact, she's been good in everything she's done.

Kaffs, I saw the promo for River last night, and I'll also be watching that one.

 I really enjoyed the first series, so I'll be tuning in for the second one.

I've just found a programme called Patagonia: Earth's Secret Paradise on BBC Two.

I had to laugh, the film crew have arrived on a beach and are carrying their equipment up the beach piece by piece, this penguin is walking along with them quite nonchalantly.

Clearly I caught the last 10 mins of that programme, another for me to iPlayer later.

Loved Unforgotten.  

I really liked how they showed how all the characters were linked (none of that waiting for weeks to work out who's who etc).

Fantastic cast list too;  Hannah Gordon effing  and the slightly sinister way that Tom Courtney spoke to his wife "We're staying"... Trevor Eve the MP and Bernard Hughes (Yozzer!) as a vicar - I'm getting a faint odour of a pedo/rent boy murder  

I missed the 1st series of Fargo.  Do I have to watch on catch up or can I dive straight in to this new series without too much confusion..?

We watched Unforgotten and rather enjoyed it.  Stellar cast, all turning in good performances and worth watching just to hear Hannah Gordon say "F**k".

ooh - good.   I've got it recorded - I might watch it tonight then.

Cosi - from the trailer, it looks like a totally different storyline in the next series of Fargo, so you should be able to jump straight in.

The hospital.....there's signals that at least 2 of the Downton residents are going to need its services.

Burt Bacharach

Burt has been (still is as I write) on the One Show tonight. I absolutely love this guy's work even though it was before my time. Along with Hal David they produced some brilliant songs and worked with a great range of talent.
