Anyone like Springwatch? The new series starts on BBC2, on Monday 25th at 8pm.

I'll record BB - it's tripe anyway - and watch Eurovosion. At least it's a laugh.
A tear in my eye watching 'Britain's Greatest Generation', wish I had appreciated what my parents' aunts and uncles went through at the time...

I think I'll do likewise, yogi - I'm already torn between watching BB and this week's Grey's Anatomy tonight.

Unless BB improves soon, it's going to take second place to everything else I want to watch.
Maybe a good thing I'm not watching this time then

I think most of us only watch so we can chat in the BB thread nowadays.
Remember that it's another double-episode for "Tatau" at 10pm on BBC3 tonight, as the (current?) series ends...
The Great American Love Song on ITV.
Fronted by Nicky Campbell, taking a look at the songs of Porter, Gershwin et al. Set what seems New York, Campbell does sing at every opportunity!
The history and the songs are great. I would recommend this programme to anyone who likes a bit of recent history. The songs are great.
It'll be catchup or ITV player for you if you read this too late.
Arts documentary series. Nicky Campbell reckons that in the 1920s and 1930s, New York produced the best songs ever written. He visits Manhattan to explore his lifelong passion for this golden age of song-writing, when the music of packed Broadway theatres fused with the sounds of Harlem's raunchy jazz clubs. He discovers too the troubled geniuses behind the songs. George Gershwin was the gifted prodigy son of Jewish immigrants. Fats Waller was Harlem's larger-than-life lothario. Cole Porter was a sparkling socialite with a secret double life. On his trip, Nicky meets a colourful cast of characters - Annie Lennox, Baba Brinkman, Michael Feinstein, Michael Mwenso, David Lahm and Marti Stevens among them. Nicky has chosen six songs: Rodgers and Hart's Manhattan, George and Ira Gershwin's The Man I Love, Night and Day - which Nicky plays on Cole Porter's own piano, The Way You Look Tonight - written for Fred Astaire, Fats Waller's Ain't Misbehavin' and The Night We Called It a Day
Is the new BBC drama, Strange and Norrell worth a watch, please?

I did too. I've a feeling it'll either be fantastic - or a huge flop, but nowhere in between. I'm hoping for fantastic.
I have just stumbled upon a programme that I think will appeal to those of us who like gardens and art.
Monty Don's French Gardens: BBC Two: Episode 3/3
As I tuned in he is looking at Monet paintings and then the gardens.

Is anyone watching Wayward Pines? I'm third episode in and still don't know if it's good or not.... but I'm finding it compelling just the same.
Anyone watching Bridesmaids?
They are in a wedding dress store and everyone has food poisoning they are being sick - bad memories for me this week !!
I've just watched a programme on C5. The world's most busiest airport. Hong Kong International. Very very interesting

If you like that you should watch the world's busiest railway station, also on Channel 5. Fascinating stuff. Staff even sleep there!
I had to laugh today...just watched This Morning, and they had a "Escort" woman, and they were talking to her about her job and the men who pay her for "her services" and AMANDA HOLDEN asked her...Don't you ever feel guilty having sex with married men".

I'm making the assumption from your piece Vids that Amanda Holden has slept with a married man.

Yes she has, she was caught cheating on her then husband (Les Dennis) with a married man.
