Yes I saw Michael Fish on tv tonight ....I wouldnβt have recognised him .......heβs really , really old
Almost knocking him down was my late MiLβs claim to fame. Mind you with her driving, there was a long list of near misses.
Honestly Baz, she used to ask, βWho wants to come with me?β and people would run for the door.
My dad used to say, sheβd never have an accident but sheβd cause loads.π

Unless I am being posh or using the telephone.
I have a upper working class accent, I could be mistaken for middle class.

His face. He could not maintain his 'Oscars' face.

No
I was hoping she would win.

No
I could not help laughing at him. He will throw a right strop when he gets home.
I love Christmas Carols
I enjoyed that, despite the winner. Thanks for the company, Baz and EC

Only Connect. 007s battered them.
I got the answer "Smell my cheese you mother".

Not an Alan Partridge fan, so that whole section was lost on me, I'm afraid...
I'm glad the Endeavours are still in the competition, but the 007s were extremely good.
Was very impressed by the bloke who got the "Inside No.9" question. The Radio Times reviewer was annoyed with himself for not getting it, but I'm a fan too and I thought it was very difficult: technically, I don't think the 007s completed the sequence, but they got the points for knowing what the sequence was.
I got very excited early-on as I thought I'd got my first 5-pointer of the series with the Olympics question, only to discover I'd got it completely the wrong way round...
River Boat Diaries coming to an on BBC iPlayer

I watched an episode of βinside no. 9 β the night before and still didnβt work it out! The missing vowels round is my specialty π

I have been watching the two parter on BBC Two about the paedophile priest Peter Ball: Exposed:The Church's Darkest Secrets. The establishment does not come out well in this, nor does senior members of the church or Prince Charles.
16 months in jail and the church stll support him when he leave prison. They need to examine the church at a forensic level.

Iβm recording it
Still not managed to get a 5-pointer on this series of "Only Connect", but I - eventually - felt quite pleased with myself tonight. After an initial struggle to get anything, I managed three 3-pointers in a row right at the end!
Oh, and whoever constructed this week's "Missing Vowel" round deserves a bonus. Totally insane!

Yes, the missing vowels round was very good tonight. Listening to the Forrest working out the wall was great too. Lots of ideas being thrown in, but they manage to distill them down and get the answers!!!
