Have I got news for you,   didn't record last night anyone know why it wasn't shown?

I saw that on bbc news page ....it said that the precorded  programme had included a Change Uk member and I quote ....

The BBC said it was "inappropriate to feature political party leaders" in an election period as it did not allow for "equal representation" of views.

Thank you

You’re welcome Machel

The series is perhaps the best TV I have ever watched - an fascinating insight into life from the age of seven

We owe the people involved a huge debt and a huge thank you

Neil has no idea how much people care about him

I love the series, Sainty.

I noticed there was a recent pic of Bruce and Neil together - IIRC, at one point, Bruce and his wife gave Neil a room with them, to help him out when he was homeless.

Yes I saw the bit where they talked about living together.

When I trained as a teacher 7UP was the first thing we watched on day one at 9am. It struck me then as ambitious and ground breaking.

Doubt it could be repeated with such freedom and intrusion … and innocence

I agree, on all points

Since you posted about it Saint, I have watched a couple of eps. Some of the stories left me a bit  But interesting nonetheless.

@Enthusiastic Contrafibularities   yes it can be very heart rending

Sadly life is never simple and we have the privilege of watching people and their life in the raw

Is anyone-else watching "Year of the Rabbit"?

It's a sort-of spoof of "Ripper Street", and also a Matt Berry vehicle - not perhaps top tier for him, but still funny, occasionally hilarious and often downright filthy!

As well as Berry, it also has a very strong support cast, which includes Peter Kaye, Alun Armstrong and Keeley Hawes!

I saw it advertised Eugene .....and I noticed Alun Armstrong was in it I’ve not watched it , but the clips seem quite amusing

We were just talking about it at work today. Personally not seen it, but I know my colleague is a big MB fan. She was not overly impressed. I would have to watch myself to form an opinion. I've always like Berry, I.T. Crowd, Toast to name two.

I have been extremely impressed with The Planets series with Brian Cox. The high quality CGI really makes you feel you are witnessing the planets. Not to mention some of the interesting facts about the Earth and how it was formed was/is influenced by stellar objects. I enjoyed finding out how we became a water planet.

Watch on iPlayer if you have some spare time.

That's been standard for a long time now.

This is from 1985...
