I was trying to remember the name of this program at the weekend. Do you remember it? Each week they took a member of the public and trained them up in a particular skill/job that was totally out of their comfort zone? Then at the end of a fortnight that person had to see if they could get past the judges of that particular job, sport or skill without being spotted as the imposter? I loved that program!

Other than that I wish they would do another ladette to lady brilliant brilliant program !

i can't remember the name but i caught a couple of them,  i would like to see the rest of the episodes about life at sea - one of the actors was little mo's abusive husband, it was cancelled because only a few million were watching

ps has the transport/escort problem been sorted ?

Yes - it was called Faking It.

I loved it.

One I particularly liked.. the working class guy ( can`t remember what his job was but he was bored with it) who faked being an artist. He didn`t think he had any artistic skills. He doubted himself the whole way through. It turned out he did. He`s now a professional artist. It changed his life.

There is a film due out next year which continues the Dallas story Link It's got many of the regulars returning in their characters.

I loved the one where they got the classical musician girl to fake being a club dj.

Actually... was that it?   Was it called Faking It?

Ohhhhh yesss, I think it was called Faking It!!!!!

Im glad others liked it too, it was so good. I remember the one where a young girl came from a council estate to be a show jumper and she really fell in love with it. At the end of the show they were all going to keep in touch and she was planning on continuing. I wonder if she did.

I miss World of Sport with Dickie Davis....far better than Grandstand! Luckily, I have Jeff on Soccer Saturday (sky sports) to see me through the footie season, but World of Sport had Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks!!!

I also miss Wogan...he never fails to make me laugh...two hours on a Sunday (or when I get chance to iplayer his show) just isn't enough!

I liked Brookside, prior to the Cult stuff.

I thought it lost its way a bit, after that.

Yes I miss Brookside too  - the only soap I ever really got into. Before the cult stuff, like you say Yogi [ and other mad storylines which ruined it at the end ].

I'm fairly sure they are running again on a different channel

Yes... it is on CBS Drama at the moment

ta Baz...   I knew it was one of the dodgier channels...   isn't CBS Drama the one that has "Touched by an Angel" on it...

I watched "Touched by an Angel" once...    I had to keep watching it, it was a morbid fascination... I couldn't quite believe anything so corny had ever been made
