I didn't...but when they showed the clip his voice had matured so much.  Hard to believe he's only 16, his voice is very mature, sounds a lot older.

oh god not more teenage boys. Cher was interesting.   The performance looked like she'd spent weeks practising in her bedroom mirror, but at least she didn't just stand there and warble a ballad.  X Factor seems to lack interesting female contestants.

Twins is this years X Factor 'thing'. Louis will be looking to sign any twins who can't sing, have stupid hairstyles and 'the kids will love them' will be his sole motivation. Someone really needs to shoot him. Give me a gun, I'll do it.

I loved the song and I loved her. I think I have watched that audition about 20 times.I know it's not everybody's kind of music but I liked it.

Yeah.. but you do know that if she gets through, they'll make her sing all sorts of crap that's way out of her comfort zone and she'll probably sound terrible.   If by some fluke she does win, they'll make her record some Whitney or Mariah-esque tat.

Not to pour cold water on yall That girl basically spent months watching and copying the beautiful Keri Hilson, everything from the outfit to the "swag" to the facial expression is all Keri Hilson. If you have time go look on youtube.

I personally think she will struggle when they give her ABBA, BEETLES etc.

I agree she copied Keri but she was still able to sing the song. She does have a voice and I am curious to see what she does with another song.

Listening back, her voice was just ok. She just rode the beat and performed like Keri Hilson. Im curious to see how she performs other songs. This hype behind her may work against her like it did for Danyl last year.

I have just listened to it again. She has a good voice but what an awful song!

I really don't like the twisty up one side mouth thing she kept doing. I also don't think vocally, she's as 'stand out' as they are all saying (but if she gets through than that could be proved differently). Although is is really commercial. I see it as the hype is a white 16 year old from the UK can sing like a modern young female black R n B artist. You watch American Idol you see kids as good as, if not better, than her all day long.

I agree. She needs a lot of work with her singing and her look. In America they wouldn't have given her a second glance. But she did make a change from all the other contestants who come out and sing the same 10 songs. She took a risk and it paid off for her and I wish her good luck.

Yeah so do I Can't have been easy standing up in front of a few thousand people including the judges and doing what she did. But I am reserving judgement as to whether she's the next Beyonce until I've seen a bit more!
