Nail polish remover    I think it's supposed to be acetone free... or maybe it's with acetone... It's sticky roulette!

Does that work Kaffy, thanks ,I'll try it on a new vase I got from M&S that I spent ages picking away at to no avail.?,I bought that Sticky Stuff product but didn't find it worked well, took forever to get rid of the smoky film it left on glass.

It takes a bit of time, but very slowly and carefully peel the label off then use the sticky on the peeled label to dab what's left and 'pick up'  The rest can be removed when you wash the item

I do that Nuts,,pick pick slowly with my nail but most times it just will not come away in one piece .M&S  are the worst I find, the adhesive they use is a step down from superglue imo.

I do it this way as well

it's when i do that , that they go all clingy

I never have any problem Jackson. Just tap and break round the middle and you should be able to peel. I can normally get half a shell off in one.

Roll, Dip & Slip Tip
Cook eggs and cool in cold water. Crack the egg shell at each end by tapping the egg onto the counter. Be sure to crush the air bubble at the large end of the egg. Place the egg on its side on the counter and roll forward for one full turn keeping the palm of your hand firmly down on the top of the egg. Place the egg into a bowl of warm water. The entire shell will slip right off.

That's how I do it.

I should have got here a bit earlier, huh?

If you do nothing else, then CRACK both ends as soon as you've boiled them to the required soft/hardness. They peel fine after that.
