Nope, Bea turned on her group and drove herself into Lisa's arms.

marcus harried and hounded her for looking surprised that he had hidden some fags, and wouldn't let up, he drove her to extreme measures.

I haven't singled you out missus, no need to be defensive.

The point remains, however, that the argument that led to this post mortem happened before transmission of LF. She (Bea) may have been fully justified in her comments and indignation.. we don't know. It is interesting that Marcus said to Bea, words to the effect of.. 'we've all been through this with him.. maybe it is just your turn and you will come out the other side'. I prefer to reserve judgement myself before I start finger pointing and 'blamethrowing'. Wink

I am not been defensive Missus Laugh

I am commenting on the way she spoke to Freddie on LF last night Tupps, dismissive, patronising downright rude and spiteful tbh to someone whom she calls a friend.

Well.. it may be justified or it may not.. the point is we don't know do we. Without the benefit of seeing the preceding argument, how could we.

Here is the conversation between Siavash and Freddie as to what caused it.

he said to Siavash in the garden he said the word blamemongering to her, which was the word she had used about Lisa in a conversation with him, he said he retracted it because she was so insulted by it she wants this to be a negative thing, because he was calling her out about something in her personality that she doesn't want to go there with, she really doesn't want to believe that she is a judgemental person.

It seems miss Bea does not like to be analysed herself but its OK to analyse others. She really needs to be kicked out this week if she is up.

The operative words in that being 'Freddie' and 'he said'. That's not seeing the argument.. that's hearing one of the participant's evaluation of it.

I agree with Bea on the point made about Freddie's over analysis of HMs and situations. He does appear to take it to the n'th degree.

Like I've said.. a conversation with one of the protagonists. That's like me saying I believe everything Bea said about the disagreement in her conversation in the kitchen.. if you go by that logic you have to apply it across the board.

True, but on the surface she did give Freddie the impression she was his friend even though we could see differently

She did that from the night she went in though....but in fairness if he was stupid enough to think someone he'd only just met was his 'friend' then more fool him.

I was surprised that he didn't put two and two together, she had seen how popular/unpopular the housemates were and she homed in on him straight away, as a man who had survived 5 evictions I think by that point he might have wanted to wonder why

IF... and it's a big if because we don't know what happened.. I had said that losing the house food because of the jail break was out of order and I was shocked/concerned/pissed/whatever that there was barely an acknowledgement by way of an apology.. and I was greeted by Freddie's 'c'mon dude.. like you're so negative.. like it's ok it's all just fun.. blah blah blah'.. then I'd have given him both barrels.. friend or not. Fair & logical point, tuppsy. Maybe we should just wait and see Nod

But I'm gonna stick my neck out here and say I'll bet whatever it was that pillock, Halfwit, did it didn't merit that cow's protracted peevish nagging at him for so long.

The only thing that would justify that kind censure is if Halfwit had commited a murderous act! Laugh

This might clarify thing a bit. Obviously not the whole thing, but we're never likely to see the whole thing anyway. Big Grin

After Marcus, Siavash and Halfwit's misbehaviour and the removal of the luxury food by Big Brother as punishment, the House has been pretty quarrelsome.

Halfwit shrugged the lost luxuries off, telling Marcus that he was ‘easy come easy go' when it comes to the food rations in the House. They both agreed they didn't care about the basic budget this week.

But, understandably, the rest of the housemates didn't see it that way and a disgruntled David spoke to Lisa saying that the rest of them shouldn't have been punished.

Bea and Halfwit talked about Marcus at the Bus Stop. Bea said she had received no apology for the row over fag-gate, and she told Halfwit that him being a ‘mediator' was not necessary or appreciated. Halfwit responded by telling her she was more judgmental than she thought and Marcus was more defensive than he thought.

Marcus asked Rodrigo how he was, and a rattled Rodrigo replied "How do you think I am, Marcus?" The two talked about the rule breaks and punishment and Rodrigo commented that he would say sorry but Marcus defended his actions. Dogface then joined the debate and likened Marcus to Rex in BB9, saying he was "acting like an idiot." But, Marcus remained unrepentent.

David went to the Diary Room and talked about Marcus being disrespectful to Big Brother, and said that Siavash and Halfwit were clones of Marcus.

Halfwit and Bea had a heated debate. It started as a discussion on Bea's ‘negativity'. Bea told Halfwit his mediating was ‘verbose, self indulgent', and that she thought he was bored in the House and that was why he tried to look for ‘kitchen drama'. Halfwit denied searching for drama, and said that he was trying to promote positivity and understanding between housemates.

Bea told him ‘you're not the person you like to think you are'. Their discussion continued, with Bea telling Halfwit that they were going round in circles. He accused her of ‘guilt-mongering' the entire day. She denied this and said she was ‘deeply offended' by the insult and that she had done nothing wrong.

Halfwit went to the Diary Room and said that Bea was so beautiful when she entered the House but looked ugly today.

Soon after midnight Bea confronted Halfwit and told him to get off his high horse. Halfwit apologised to Bea but she didn't respond. Later in the Bedroom she told him that if she wanted psycho-analysing she wouldn't have come into the House, and that it would be "better if you be quiet." Halfwit rolled over and closed his eyes and Bea got up and left.

Bea then went off to rant about Halfwit to David, Lisa and Charlie, who were in the Kitchen making tea. Nothing new there then.

Do we take it the love affair is over?
