The rescue of Daniel Herrera just now, and the meeting with his mother was exceedingly emotional.  It's fantastic.

Having a son myself I found that very moving

The 17th miner has just reached the surface so this means that they have reached the half way stage.

The 19th man has just been brought to the surface,they hope to have them all out by the end of the day,their time.Wonderful.

What must have gone through their minds when they were down there, something different for all of them, but the one unity goal of making the most of the rest of their lives when they get out.

I think that most will have a long way to go after this Ev, it's going to be awfully hard to try and lead some sort of normal life after this, if they ever can.

Its going to take some more than others to adjust. I just hope they get all the support they need.

They all seemed to look fairly stable in a physical way by what i seen. I don't know what i was expecting.

Me too Ev, all in all they have managed to balance a good diet and exercise for them and it's worked well

26th miner now getting in the capsule.  Amazing business.
One of the rescued miners is in hospital with pneumonia.

Blimmin eck last time I saw it was 21, now on their 26th, going quickly.

I can't say I see the need to put each one of them on a stretcher.

I see your point, but after what they've just had to endure it probably feels like a luxury to them (even though it's being done for medical safety reasons and all the gubbins)

my dad said today he would ask too hear enough Rolling Stones songs to get him too the top, me i'd just shut my eyes

I'm not sure that the Rolling Stones would be appropriate, after surviving a mine collapse!

Just realised, the tunnel is 222ft longer in length than the twin towers were in height (if that makes sense, ahh you knowarramean)

Blizzie 30th one getting ready now, this should be over in an hour and a bit

Now only 2 miners left underground - and 5 rescuers.
Watching this whole thing has been  unique in my lifetime.

Seriously though, it's brilliant how quick this has been, 24 hours to get 35 people out of a tunnel 2000 feet down. I'm liking the BBC silver fox journo, at least he's got a bit of passion and he speaks the lingo and everyfink!
