EFFT...must be awful having family in the area or close by....we had an elderly Aunt in Lewisham...thankfully, she moved to Kent a few months ago....I also have a cousin in Brixton, but  have spoken to his Mum who has said he has very sensibly left the area and is safe.....

Ken Livingstone is worth 100 Boris  Johnsons IMO ...............he loves London - Boris hasn't even bothered to return from his holiday!

Apologies but - I really and truly think .................and always have thought that Ken Livingstone was born to be Mayor of London ..................we really don't need Tory toffs who know nothing about the lives of ordinary people,

I don't like Boris either.....and I really can't explain why i don't like Ken....just one of those 'gut' things with me!

We've seen the most extraordinary scenes. Walking through the streets, there was looting going on. I saw 100 or so young men with ski masks and hoods pulled down. They seemed to be very well-organised, communicating with each other on radio. The police were in force but they did not seem to know what to do. It's a really tense atmosphere here.

Livingstone totally ignored the suburbs and concentrated his efforts where he was sure of votes Soozy, which is why he has no support whatsoever here...Boris was an *Anyone but Livingstone* choice for most of us...simple as that
