Do you think they taken the joke about that car abit too far? I just been looking at a forum and few weeks after the show made jokes about how crap the car is this happened to an owners...

I haven't heard the marina joke but there have always been certain cars which come in for some micky taking. Jasper Carrot was probably responsible for the poor sales of the Lada back in the 80's.

There's absolutely zero proof that it was done because of top gear.

It's likely it was done because it's a bloody rubbish car, so rubbish that a broken window is an improvement....

A friend had one - i liked the Ital .... i like the car
Its part of our heritge - we shud enjoy all it has to offer
