This is true... Hopefully can say the same in the football tonight.
Good luck
Ooh.. we got lucky. Ajax fans got a bit out of hand... I am surprised, always found the Dutch to be good people.
Oh no... what happened?
They tore up our seats and hit the stewards with them. I have been told in Amsterdam the away section is reached via specific train connected to the stadium by a covered walkway... to keep you separate.
I was shocked to find this out.
Thats shocking + I didn't know that either.
Its strange as Dutch people I've met have been lovely too.
I know right? Lovely people generally.
How are you keeping a.t.m.? All set for Halloween?
Alright, today I have a headache but that'll pass... yourself?
Going to get a red velvet cake mix on wednesday and try to ice it up to look like Jack Skellington... This may not work. You got stuff sorted?
Sorry you have a headache Hitch... its not one of the bad migraines you get is it?
Your cake sounds exciting I'm not going to bother cooking or baking anything special this year. Will just put up some Halloween decorations, carve the pumpkin, watch some spooky fims, have some snacks and make some witches brew punch Got the fruit, alcohol, and assorted colourings. And a black cauldron style pot to stir it in
Oh and its Autumnwatch tonight
Was only a headache, I'm still standing. *dances like Elton John*
Punch sounds interesting. Never done a pumpkin... nor a turnip... I am a Samhain failure. *nods sadly*
Spooky films are the best. Enjoy!

Nah pumpkins are easy. Halloween baking is a good way to celebrate
Yep watched Cropsey on Netflix. Its about murders and bodies supposedly buried on the grounds of an old asylum in NY. Very Michael Myers...
On the lookout for some more scary films if you can think of any?
Oh gods... I'm not really a great movie person. Have you ever seen Ginger Snaps? Werewolf movie, quite good. It has a sequel and a prequel... never seen the prequel.
Avatar! Pumpkin! I like it!

Thanks its from the 1978 movie...
Now... how about we repair to my Halloween thread? in t'other place up there ^^ It'll be quiet I assure you... just you and me and my 1 and a half other forum mates.
C'mon... lures Hitch with a trail of pringles...
I posted. *nods* Cake in oven.
Very impressed Hitch . Cor blimey It looks yummy *salivates* ...how did it taste?
Lovely, unfortunately I had headaches again and couldn't enjoy it on the day. Had a big slice between works today... and there's still dia de los muertos to celebrate.
Needs a nice big cup of tea.
Oh no. Hope you're feeling better
I didn't feel great either. Had too much Halloween punch. Then there was a big spider running up my duvet which meant a sleepless night until I found it again
My pumpkin lasted all of 4 days before it crumpled into a squishy mess. Maybe I didnt carve it out enough and the candles cooked it.
I do. I was better at Saturday/dia de las muertos.
Spider?! On bed?! So, I guess that means a brand new bed needed then.
Is that not long? How long do they normally last?
New bed lol ....no not that bad. But it did take two days before I could pick the duvet up again
Ahhh... maybe you're right about pumpkins - last years one crumpled pretty quick too
Glad you're feeling better xx
The couch get some overnight company then?
There are worse things than spiders I guess...
Maybe there something that can done? Pumpkin preserver? Turnips last longer?
Thank you.
Yeah... they're just not as sturdy as turnips, thats it. I have the scooped out insides in the freezer... pondering what to do... might pitch it into the next curry.
Its true!!!! Martin O'Neill is Ireland manager yaaaay! *does happy dance*
Roy Keane... not sure why he's there as no.2 but anyways...
Yay! Enjoy him! I miss him..not a fan of Neil Lennon.
See? The old ways are better.
You're not? Celtic's doing well though?
Thanks. We're so lucky to get Martin O'Neill Hope he's given a chance... we haven't good players, so can't expect miracles.
Also... it'll be great to have someone who can talk!!! Trap didn't have a word of English and all had to go through his interpreter
Oh, we are... it's just more of a "shutupshutupshutup!" kind of thing.
Yes, I felt the same the same way about Strachan... given a fair chance, he'll do great. Yeah, it is better if they can communicate with the players.
Oh no!!! I thought I was the last one to post in here and was waiting for you. I swear I came in here and didn't see your post
Thats it. Its offical. I have lost my marbles
Anyway, sorry Hows you? Is it getting cold up there?
*brings in cherry coke and cookies for Hitch*
...Oh and Neil Lennon what I've seen on him, seems a bit gobby and to attract trouble?
Hehe... I thought you'd ran away.
No worries, I shall help you gather your marbles. After I gobble up the cookies and cola of course... priorities.
Yes, gobby. He has improved slightly... Not my favourite manager we've ever had... that would be Wim Jansen.
Yes, cold and dark. *brr* Bit tired, but only 6 weeks to the xmas hols. How are you?
Oh... surviving thanks
Hows work going? No more migraines hopefully?
Good, good.
I am ruing the overtime because it is blocking my cheap cinema tuesdays... Thor 2 has gone unseen so far and Catching Fire may do too.
My optician is going to contact my doctor since he can find nothing eye-wise wrong. Although, my right eye failed the peripheral test... but that shouldn't affect my head. I think.
I hope everything is ok. Wonder whats effecting your right side peripheral vision?
Shame you have to miss your cheap cinema seats. No fair.
Ah well... Thor 2 shall be seen at some point.
Any movies you looking forward to?
Well I have Netflix so there's a few movies to work through. Shutter Island was awful - gave up 15 mins in. They have The Hobbit - have you seen it?
Yes, Hobbit is good. My extended edition is winging it's way to me as I type.
Shutter Island looks bad... never tried to watch it.
Have I recommended Sleepy Hollow yet? Series on Watch (I think... should be on Netflix soon, it's a short series... Should be near the end of airing soon. (if you can get an anonymiser, you might be able to get it on US Netflix legally too. Or Hulu.)
Yes you did - you love that show don't you
I watched the final two series of Breaking Bad on Netflix. Good but not as good as its hyped up to be.
The pixies might bring me Catching Fire - probably poor quality as they have to carry it on their little wings
Good, good. I hope it's on your to do list? It's a short-ish season.
Things generally don't live up to hype... except Up... Up did.
Ooh excellent! You'll see it before me then. Still not seen Thor 2.
Oh no when will you get to see it do you think?
Was The Hobbit better than TLOTR trilogy would you say? I didn't think they were all that good, much preferred the books.
No idea... or whenever I give up and go on an expensive, crowdy day.
Oh... umm... I like all the movies, I like the Hobbit the same. It takes from the appendices of LoTR too... and obviously it pads out the characters of the dwarves.
Ah ok thanks. Think its because the LOTR films didn't have my favourite bit from the books - Tom Bombadil in the forest.
Hows work going? Lots of colds and snuffles going round?
