Oh thats not much fun...
maybe not... but could you imagine me without a tv for however long? lol
No, nor anyone! Hope you get a nice one.
I'm one to talk...I've asked Santy Claus for a kettle and other practical household things.
oh i did.. it's hd and has plenty of ports for plugging in dvd/nes and such like.
Sounds like a good one - now you can watch Chris Packham's bogies in glorious detail.
unfortunately to do that i would have to get an ariel. i'm on a v-box right now... not v+ or tivo sadly. lol
as for tv.. i thoroughly recommend a show called 'once upon a time' (have i mentioned this? i have no memory and am too lazy to look back ). i have a new found appreciation of Jiminy Cricket. *nods*
Tell me more... what is it + what channel?
it's about (right, this will sound hokey... it's not as bad as it sounds) a small town in america were storybook characters have been cursed to live. you'd really need to see an episode or two to understand why that is better than it sounds...
as for channel... umm.. it's on abc, don't think it's been picked up here yet.
Sounds delightfully odd. I like quirky, fantasy type shows. Pushing Daisies was pretty out there, and I loved that.
it is.. with lost style flashbacks (and a few lost based easter eggs too).
robert carlyle is amazing as rumpelstiltskin. and i complete adore rafael sbarge (what a name, eh?) as jiminy cricket.
Sounds intriguing.
*tries not to sound like an obsessing, obsesser that obsesses*
i think i have failed. *nods*

i think i have failed. *nods*
Speaking of being obsessed... Yay! Neil Oliver has a new series "The Last Explorers". I found it tucked away on iplayer. I think its only being shown on BBC Scotland for now.
yeah, i saw a couple of episodes... being paddled down a river in africa and what not. i think there's only 4 episodes.
Have downloaded the first ep - it'll be next in the must-watch-queue, after Frozen Planet.
i have cleared my v+ backlog... unfortunately today is the day the recordings start back up. lol
I missed a couple of Autumnwatches oh well...
However, the Neil Oliver series sounds like something to look forward to.
aww... did you watch badger cam at all this year? they were very cute. one night one of them noticed the camera, gave it a right good sniff and then slept in the most uncomfortable position (hind legs up in the air)... badger sleep noises are very soothing. *nods*
