Just heard that my father fell and broke his hip, and is in hospital awaiting an operation. Like I say I'm not close to my father but am worried about the strain on poor Owen.

Oh dear. My dad did that a few years back, was in agony. I hope where ever he is is better than the Western. He has to look after him right? It's quite a long recuperation, physio visits and what not.

I gather thats the case  Sorry your father wasn't well looked after. Theres only Owen and me and I can't go back. He does have some other family though.

Hopefully Owen will get some help then.

Only problem my dad really has now is the stairs, he takes a bit longer. Also, he has a cushion to bump up the sofa as it's too low.

 Lol since I saw Martin in the white cravatty shirt one Halloween, I keep picturing him as the romantic hero type  Now he's cut his hair, that image is fading.

The badger was gorgeous, as were the kits. Most of all the ptarmigen on the treadmill.

Yes, I can imagine that... and, yes, also sad about the haircut. Hopefully it will be replenished in time for Springwatch. Was nice to see all sweaty from exertion though.

Also enjoyed watching those beaver kits cleaning their lodge last night. It was like their mammy had told them to tidy their room.

That was very cute... only seen the first half so far.

No worries thats what iplayer is for. I had to rewatch the first one as for some reason I chose to cook my supper when it was on so I heard it more than saw it. I had to check back to see the cuteness

I'm alright, went to Clydebank to sort out my phone upgrade. Samsung Galaxy, is nice... but I miss my HTC. Also, more data, no extra cost. *phew*

I got the Bowie one by myself at Springwatch, wasn't sure after a couple... but then he called the redstart chicks 'all you young dudes' and I knew I was right. I even missed the Manic Street Preachers, which is my era.

Well done for getting the Bowie one. I should have got that as I love him [Rebel Rebel is probably my favourite song].

I enjoyed this Winterwatch. There was hilarious footage of a beaver falling asleep in the middle of doing something last night. And badgers snuggling and snoring about 25 mins in. Cuteness! Also I really like Michaela and the way she acts with Chris.
